Mark Your Calendars! Join Us At The Annual Meeting
The credit union's 2012 annual meeting is just around the corner, and we hope you can join us. Unlike other financial institutions whose meetings are restricted to a few share-holders, your credit union is a financial cooperative with meetings open to its valued member-owners: You! So plan now to attend to learn about the elections to the Board of Directors, hear about how the credit union fared in 2011 and get the scoop on what's on tap in 2012. Give us your feedback and let us know how well the credit union is serving your financial needs. Tell us about what we're doing right as well as your suggestions for making improvements. Enjoy a catered meal and the chance to visit with other members, too. The credit union exists only to serve you and your support is appreciated. We look for-ward to seeing you at the annual meeting.
This years meeting will be held Thursday, April 12 at 6:00 pm at the Eighth Ave. Baptist Church Christian Life Center in Teague, TX. The terms of directors Jim Sealey and Jean Tackett will expire at this meeting. The nominating committee made up Kenneth Allen, Fred Neale and Nancy Roberts has nominated Jim Sealey and Jean Tackett to succeed themselves, each for three year terms. Additional nominations, other than the ones by the nominating committee may be made if (1) the nominee has agreed to serve if elected and (2) a petition signed by 25 members in good standing is presented to the officer in charge at the credit union office at 613 Main St, Teague, TX no later than the close of business on March 12, 2012. Prescribed petition forms are available at the credit union office.
